           Lately, I've decided to carry around a quote book and write down all of the funny things I hear. I realized I just HAD to start one, because I find myself laughing 'till it hurts at least once a day. It hasn't been long, so I don't have many, but every time I get some good ones, I'm gonna paste them on my blog. But yes, I realize that a lot of them were only funny in the moment. So, here's a few! I wont put down any names because 1. You wont know them 2. Privacy issues...or something...

My friend showed me a comic called "Simply Potterific". SO funny! If you haven't read the books, they may not make much sense to you. Here's three of my favorite: (sorry can't make them any bigger)

Cold

    Well, it's here. It crept around the corner and without really telling anybody, it butted it's way into my life. That's right. WINTER is finally here. I feel gypped of fall! It seemed to me, that as soon as the leaves changed to their reds, oranges and yellows, a layer of frost decided to join the mix.
     It's not that I hate winter. I LOVE the holidays, and the good feelings that come with it. I love looking at the snow and curling up in a blanket (or snuggie) with a cup of hot cocoa. But for some reason, I couldn't figure out why I still have this itty-bitty feeling of contempt for "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". I have finally narrowed down the cause.
   Cold
I hate the cold.
Living in Utah, wintertime means that I'm cold all the time! My feet are always freezing and my room decides to adopt Antarctica's climate. If snow was warm, that would be awesome. If it didn't constantly feel like it was below freezing, I could deal. But it's not, and life goes on. Oh well. One day, I'm going to move someplace warm. Preferably California. Or Hawaii. Or Florida. You know what? Maybe my heating bill will just be sky high. . .and worth it. However, the one good thing about the cold? It keeps the spiders away.

Harry Returns

Loved it! Best yet! However, I returned with an entire page full of things that were different from the book. Some good, most bad. It rocked though. GREAT acting. Special Bravo to Emma Watson at Malfoy Manor. LOVED IT!

Culture Night Video!

 So, my Stake had a "Culture Night". Each ward had to make a "Mormon Ad" video having to do with the theme "Be Strong and of Good Courage". We won best special effects. Wow. Here's what our ward came up with:

I Wanna be Famous, Wanna be a STAR. . .

So guess what just came back from? I just spent the last 3 1/2 hours filming a Seven Peaks Waterpark commercial! I got a text from my friend whose dad was helping out with the filming. So, a group of us got together at Seven Peaks and they gave us free Dip'n'dots.(Which I found out I don't like that much) I had to leave before they did the headshots of people going down the slides, but you probably still can see me going up and down the big tower. It's a commercial for a new slide, but I'm not allowed to say anything more. . . sorry. Look for me when you see it on T.V. I'm in a red and blue Lava Lava, or my black and white swim suit. So FUN!

You may think it's dorky. . .

So, my school is starting a Glee Club. No, it's not a "Glee" fan club. It's an actual show choir! It will actually compete, be in assemblies, and have service projects. Now, you may think it's dorky, but I am UBER excited!
           During club week (last week), they had a sign up sheet for all those that wanted to be in it. There was no audition whatsoever, because hey, it's just a dumb ol' Glee Club, and no one will sign up. WRONG. there were 160 people that signed up for it. That is more than 1/10 of my ENTIRE school.
           So, change of plans! There is now an audition. (I was actually hoping for that instead.) Call me crazy, but I love the thrill of competition! So, wish me luck next week at he auditions. They want only 50-60 people, and even  THAT is pushing it.

Look A-like

So, Here is my dilemma. I think that my brother (Elijah) looks like Justin Beiber with his hair this long. What do you think? He said he get's a lot of comments at school about it. Ok, now I want you to vote on the poll on my blog! Especially the Beliebers. (Yes, you know who you are :) )Tell me what you think. P.S. I french-braided his hair today. . . ya, he wouldn't let me put that picture on my blog. . .he's getting a haircut soon.

 So all in all, it was fun. Which part? All of it. The funnest part of homecoming was when they had us eat spaghetti in our nice dresses. . . with our hand's tied together! Yes, it was planned by a boy. My favorite part of Cody's birthday was when we gave him our presents. It went like this:

Alright, I realized that I haven't blogged in a while, so this is an update post!

• I got asked to homecoming. Yes, a miracle does happen every once in a while.
•  Answers to Frequently Asked Questions: No, I don't LIKE him, he's my friend. Yes, I have a dress. Yes, it's a big group for our day date. The theme is "Together in Paris".  Anything else?
• I got a call back for our school musical!
• Went today, sang a lot, sang some more, listened to people sing, and wore my voice out from singing so much. BTW: It's "Man of La Mancha" Yay!

I realize that I will probably have to update you on both of my event's later, huh? Alright,  See you!

Idaho-ho!

Well, I am off to Idaho for the rest of the week for our Laurel retreat! Ah! The land of potatoes, horses, and Sister Rayback! You don't even know how excited I am. We're going to go rafting, shooting, visit BYU, horse riding, and lot's more! SO HAPPY!
